Homestead Connection Directory
Submit free business directory listing (includes listings for organizations, personal and service sites). Limited paid sponsor slots are available. Donations are encouraged to help offset hosting, bandwidth and management fees.
You do not have to link to your Home page. We accept links to internal pages in sites. Visit the FAQ page for more information on choosing the one that is best for you.
You are given the option to choose the Category and Sub-Category for your link. Look through the available categories on the main directory page, click on the link to view the subcategories. Enter your choices in the submission form. If you do not fill out this information we will select what we feel is the most appropriate placement after reviewing your website.
Can't find a category or sub-category that really fits your site? Suggest a category or sub and we will let you know right away whether or not it will be added.
Your free listing in the website directory allows you to submit your site to ONE Category so choose carefully. We also offer you a second link for a one time $7.50 processing fee. This would give you the benefit of having 2 links to two different pages within your site and the ability to cross categorize. Ex: Your site is about pet portraits. By having the second link you could submit to both the Fine Art category as well as the Pet Category.
Sites that are under construction will not be accepted.

Gambling sites
Adult or Pornographic Sites
Sites that consist of only links, affiliate links or advertising and do not offer original, quality, informational content for viewers
Non-English language sites
Sites that are racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable
Sites that promote violence or hatred
All submissions are reviewed to be sure they meet our TOS (Terms of Service) and upon acceptance they will then be added to the Directory. Editors will take the most conservative view when reviewing sites. Read through the faqs for additional information. We do not accept:
The website you are submitting must provide a quality resource to the directory. Sites lacking quality content will be declined.
Websites must have complete Contact information to be included in the directory. Information should contain at least: Business name, email address, city, state/province and country.
Title length: 100 characters including spaces. Do not use URL in title.
Description: 400 characters including spaces. Do not use all capitol letters and avoid exclamation marks. No sales hype.
In the event a site does not meet our Terms of Service you will receive an email with the subject Declined.
Submissions must have a verifiable email address. Email addresses are not published with your Directory listing - this is for our information only.
Your information is protected to the best of our ability. Email addresses are not shared and only rarely might you receive a mailing from us. In that instance it will be to update you regarding changes in the Directory and you may opt out of receiving future mailings by contacting us at: support@siteencounters.com
DO NOT submit your site repeatedly. Repeated submissions will result in removal of an existing link to your site and future consideration to add your site.
